Ann Wilson Rocks VH1 Classic And Debuts Solo Material On Heart Tour
Celebrating the release of her first solo album, Ann Wilson takes over VH1 Classic on Sunday, September 9th. Starting at 5 pm/ ET, Wilson takes fans inside her new record Hope & Glory (Sep. 11th, Zöe/Rounder) debuting selections on “Inside Track: Ann Wilson.” Preceding that, the second annual “VH1 Rock Honors” re-airs at 3 pm, paying homage to the pioneers of rock. This year’s special saluted Heart, the only female-fronted band to receive the distinction with a much buzzed about performance of ‘Barracuda’ by Gretchen Wilson and Alice in Chains. Wrapping up the rock block, Wilson hosts the “Women Who Rock Countdown” at 5:30 pm/ ET.
Wilson will be performing songs from her solo album Hope & Glory during Heart’s upcoming live concerts.
